The Salvation Army partners with The Nazarene Church to provide emergency assistance: Fuel, food, prescription, lodging, rental and utility assistance. Emergency assistance is available on the following days: Monday/Wednesdays 3:30-5:30pm. Please bring identification and any supporting documentation which verifies the needed assistance. Back-to-school backpacks and supplies are provided during a special summer event for low-income families, The Salvation Army Camp Gifford program is available at a cost of $25 for a week-long camp for low-income families, back-to-school shoes and winter boots are also provided for those in need. This assistance is made available because of the generous donations raised during The Salvation Army Kettle Campaign each season.
